A very very busy week (again) and a reminder!

Oh my goodness, yet another week has flown by, does anyone have a remote with a pause button please? I really need time to stop for a little while so I can just catch up a little!! Maybe one of the time turners Hermione uses in Harry Potter would come in very handy!

I've had such a busy but nice week, meeting up with friends, taking Grace out riding, going out shopping with my mum and Grace, cooking, crafting... (and the usual endless washing, cleaning etc) I've added a mass of new goodies to the website including - the new collection by MME - Fine & Dandy ~ Tickled Pink, gorgeous new ribbons and lace by May Arts, chipboard letters and I've just had a HUGE delivery this morning which will keep me busy for a couple of days or so!

I made the card below for a friend of ours' daughter (one of Grace's friends) little miss Cupcake Cutie (LCI) was perfect for this little girl's Birthday! And I love these papers by MME - Quite Contrary ~ Mary Mary I love the ribbon too and thought the big knot worked quite well...
Noticed the "3"? This is was made using the number and sentiment set also by Ladybug Crafts Ink!!
I had great fun colouring, stickling, glittering and glossy this image, I love this little stamp so much and think it's perfect for so many cards (for big and little girls!!)

Anyway time for my reminder... It's the start of TLT's challenge blog to begin on the 2nd November (Tuesday!!) and we're having a blog hop to celebrate... and what comes with a blog hop... PRIZES!
We're celebrating the launch of a new set of stamps by Ladybug Crafts Ink so come and check out the challenge and the new stamps!!

TLT! It's that time again!

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe yet another Tuesday has come around soooooo quickly! This week we were set the challenge by the Lovely Ladybugs Guest Designer for the month Ang. Ang has been with us for October and I hope she's enjoyed herself!
Ang set the challenge of making our own patterned paper! (Michele and I both said, "oh we did that for our mermaid cards can we use them" ha ha ha - no chance!) (Although we were only joking)

I had a clear image in my mind of what I wanted to create - and still have that finished card in my mind!!! I couldn't find 2 of the things I needed and started to panic a little because I had this picture in my head and no other ideas... so I thought to myself Saturday night " pick a stamp, pick colours and and find a stamp to make my patterned paper" and off I went! This is my interpretation...

I used the adorable Catflap Magnum (I felt guilty having picked Buttercup last week so couldn't not use this cute little guy and he's soooo cute - for a cat!)

I was inspired by the beautiful colours our in the fields at the moment, all those war yellows, oranges and reds - very Autumnal (except today is grey and miserable!)

Everything went together so well for this card!
I used 2 different stamps to create the patterned paper. I used a rusty red ink to stamp over the Honey Mustard CS, and a gold and bronze ink to stamp on the Coffee CS.
I heat embossed a layer of stamps with a glittery gold powder and then added another layer of bronze ink over the top. At the top of the card I used a bronze ink to the corners.
Materials you will need:
Catflap Magnum (LCI)
Honey Mustard, Coffee and Paprika Double Dot CS (Bo Bunny) - Funky Farm
Burnt Orange Double Dot Ribbon 5/8" (Bo Bunny)
Grass stamps
Gold, Bronze and Rust Inks
Glitter gold embossing powder

Make sure you check out my other Ladybug friends Cards, I'm off to do it too!! (You can find their links to the right of my blog)

Have a great Tuesday!! x

TLT Tuesday and Some NEWS!!!

OK so it's that time of week again, it's TLT!!! I have yet again had a rollercoaster of a week but actually managed to get my card for this week's challenge all finished, photographed and emailed to head Ladybug before 10:30 this morning (unheard usually but after me being outed last week for emailing my card at 11pm Monday night (I did have a reasonable excuse mind!) I thought I'd better improve my lateness as I always seem to be the naughty Ladybug that's last to send her pics (I can't help it and have to think of everything possible for my project, plus I have a poorly little girl and a business/family to run, horse to exercise etc)

Anyway onto this week...

First.... this week's exciting news!!! Our Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge Blog is being launched TODAY!!!!!!
http://ladybugscraftsinkchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ CHECK IT OUT at the link!!!! We are all sooooooo excited and cannot wait for the first challenge!! I don't think we'll be able to sleep the night before! LOL!

There's more news!!! To celebrate the launch there's blog candy to be won!!
Check out this gorgeous candy!!! I love that cute Magnum and Lily image and those embellies and ribbons are yummy!!

So what do you have to do to  be in with a chance to win this lovely candy I hear you ask?!!?
Well firstly add this banner to your blog...
Secondly, become a follower on the blog - easy peasy!
Thirdly leave your name with Mr Linky - Simples!

So onto this week's challenge, gosh I am sooooooo nervous as this week it's my challenge!!! Let me tell you the feathers of some of the Lovely Ladybugs have been well and truly ruffled this week (and the weeks leading up to it!!!) (Picture hens in the hen house getting all ruffled about something - that's the image I have in my head!!)

Anyway - I decided to go with something a little different as a lot of my ideas had been taken so I thought "why not do something "different"" ha ha!!!

It's called:   Cats V Dogs in a Shabby Chic and/or Vintage style!!!
I cannot wait to see what everyone has come up with!!
Here's my attempt (no pressure lol!!)

I chose the gorgeous Buttercup (how could I resist her and I was saving her specifically for this challenge!)
And I went down the predominantly Shabby Chic road (although a lot of the elements are the same/similar to create a vintage look)
Don't you just love Buttercup's kennel?! I added 3D foam pads to make it look as though she really was peeking form inside! The stamp is called "In the Doghouse" - poor Buttercup, I'd love her lots :)

I chose pretty English Country floral papers, white washed green cardstock, white cardstock, used lots of pink and smoke blue inks, stitching which I then picked to make it look shabby! I ruffed up the papers a little to make them look worn and found this beautiful green lace! I even papered some of Buttercup's Kennel!!
And this is the finished piece!!! I added handmade bunting and some pink pearls to help finish the look. I embossed pink/silver pearl ink/powder.
You can give a home to Buttercup by clicking HERE
Sooooooo, I'm dying to know what you all think and I can't wait to see what my other Lovely Ladybug's have come up with!!

That's it from me for today. xXx

Anyway onto this week's challenge which was set by Lovely Pinky!! Pinky set the challenge "One for the Boys" and my interpretation was to create a card for a boy. So what do you think?

Isn't Jack just the cutest little man!?!? He's such a sweetie!

I had so much fun creating this card (plus I have 5 little boys Birthdays from September to November to make cards for) I thought I'd make two!!! So you have a double treat today! Plus I love these papers!!

You will need:

Hope you enjoy the cards, please don't forget to share the Ladybug Love and visit each of my Lovely Ladybug Friends and DT buddy's blogs and see what they came up with for this week's challenge! I can't wait to see them!

Such a busy week, I don't know where on earth it went!

Gosh, what another very busy week (which is good!) but boy doesn't it pass so quickly, it feels like it was only Monday yesterday! It's been an up and down week, so much going on and I was so pleased for a little break last night - I went out for a gorgeous meal with some lovely girly friends and we had a lovely enjoyable time, great food and great company and a good giggle, we were laughing until tears ran, I had severe face ache afterwards!!!

Funky Farm's Birthday Bash is going very well!!! Remember there's still time until 10pm tomorrow to save 10% off your entire order with the code: HAPPYBIRTHDAY

We've had a busy run of Birthday parties a Christening, Weddings and other get togethers recently and I've found myself rather busy making lots of cards, which is great. I've also had some enquiries/orders to make and design some Wedding Invitations and enquiries/orders for materials for people to make their own invitations. Please help spread the word that I can order in products specifically for anyone who would like to create their own invites - or if anyone is looking for someone to make their invitations for them then I can also help with that too!

This is a pic of a card I made for a recent Christening of some friend's little boy (remember the invitations I was asked to make? It was this Christening).

I was rather pleased with the result, it took quite a while to make but the result was worth it as it looks so pretty but simple.

Crafty Ingredients:
Teddy Bear Stamp
Letter stamps

Isn't the stamp cute?! Do you know I'd completely forgotten I had the set of stamps the teddy bear came in!? I've never used them, they were in their original packaging, I'd bought them from Lakelands years and years ago (maybe 8) and had forgotten about them completely. Don't you love finding things you forgot you had?!

More discounts???? Well if you've got the latest Papercraft Inspiraions, Lets Get Crafting or Crafts Beautiful Magazines you'll find 3 exclusive discount codes in these magazines!!!! :)

Anyway, that's it from me, short and sweet.

Ladybug Crafts Ink's 2nd BLOG HOP!!!!

Hello my lovely Ladybug friends!!!! Well today is TLT Totally Ladybug Tuesday and today is a special day as we are hosting Ladybug Crafts Ink's 2nd BLOG HOP!!! Hip hip horay I hear you cry!

OK if you haven't arrived hear from Ang's blog the please go back to Head Ladybug/Cow's Blog Kerry and begin your lovely blog hop journey!

This blog hop is also special because we are celebrating the launch of a new range of stamps - CUPCAKE CUTIES!!! They are gorgeous! And I'm a touch excited lol!!!

So here's my Cupcake Cutie, we had a theme of anything goes so I got busy thinking away over the weekend of what I could make. It had to be "special" for the release and eye catching! We have had a run of Birthday parties lately and this weekend we were at another party and there were the most scrumptious and divine looking cupcakes there! On the drive home we were chatting away and I had one of those light bulb moments you see in films "ping" went the idea in my head, "why not create a cupcake shaped card which would be perfect for the Cupcake Cutie theme!?!?!"

This cupcake card is HUGE but doesn't it look delicious - good enough to eat I think?!
It measures almost 11 inches tall by 10.75 inches wide!

I loved colouring this little cutie (after my dilemma trying to get her printed in the correct size!!), she reminds me of my gorgeous little girl Grace with her pinafore dress and beautiful blonde curls! Of course I added the mandatory glitter to the image and card (which really wasn't a problem at all with this gorgeous image!) Simon was laughing at me as I was covered in glitter, I could even see my nose twinkling when I moved!!! I was rather covered! :)

Isn't she scrummy!? I had to use bright colours for this Cutie, I chose Bo Bunny's Petal Pushers papers and double dot cardstock:
Orange Micro Dot Ribbon (also from the Funky Farm website)
Prima E-Line Pearls and Crystals

So what do you think!?!?!
So do you want to be in with a chance to win some fantastic stamps?!?! Of course you do and here's how...
